Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Battery Not Reading

My battery won't charge in a higher place 88%. I take replaced the battery, tried a unlike charger, wiped my phone, and fifty-fifty tried wiping the cache. I am at a loss of what to do at present.

Unfortunately I accept had the aforementioned problem since the half-dozen.0.i. update. My battery is fifty-fifty new.

I have EXACTLY, and I hateful EXACTLY the aforementioned problem as you. Charged till 88% and got stuck. I've tried many ways and came up with ii solutions.
First one is you take to accept out your battery everytime you charged up to 88%. When u put it dorsum and boot your telephone information technology volition show 100%.
The second way which I find mode more than convinient, is to dial *#0228# and press Quick Start. I dont know what this activeness actually does, simply it messes with my battery reading percentage and sort of calibrate it so it will show the right reading. I do this every other twenty-four hours. Works till now.

I'thou dealing with this right now as well. Brought my Note 4 to an official samsung service centre and they diagnosed the problem as the charging port board and replaced it. I got my phone back with a previous ver of Android Bone and it charged to 100% without problem. The next day I updated to Android half-dozen.0.ane and now it won't charge past 88%.

I'm having the same problem. Mine stops at 72% though. I have institute I can pull the battery and reinstall and information technology will raise the percentage some, just 100% has only been possible on my motorcar charger. Samsung needs to push out an update to set up this. I have to wonder if it isn't to make people leave the annotation iv and get the new note vii handicapped past an internal battery.

Everytime I say aye to an update I accept problems now and aye my battery wouldn't charge fully. My textin slowed.... I love my annotation 4 they are making this worst non amend

Has anyone managed to gear up this problem yet. I've tried recovery and articulate enshroud and all the same doesn't make a deviation. My gf is make new she'south simply had it a weekey now and it won't accuse past 86% unless she takes the bombardment out ..
I've checked battery scale app and when information technology gets to 86% it showseems the same mv as information technology does when it's at 100%..
Don't know if to ship the phone back and get it replaced but if it'southward a marshmallow bug is there a good chance it will happen again

Effort the battery scale app that is included in Root Essentials by SuperThomasLab. You do not need to be rooted to use that part of the tools. Practise follow the instructions though.
Information technology does a very expert job of recalibration.

That's what I notices every bit soon as I did the update. Battery charges upwards to 88%; as I'g using it unplugged the phone just shuts off and it won't turn on unless I have it charging! !!

For me its been random. sometimes 76, somtimes 80+, sometimes but threescore+ and yes sometimes when the Gods are shining upon it I meet 100%.
Tried various things: Immigration cache partition, removing reinstating battery, charging with Android not running, Drain fully then charge again.
Almost of these don't piece of work, but the last one I had some success with i.e. drain your bombardment fully. So accuse it (without turning on Android) and information technology may become to 100%. This I believe recalibrates Android .. just I am guessing.
Android sucks when it comes to agreement battery life and why there is battery drain. I think Android users spend too much time in the mysteries of the battery :P.

Bombardment not fully charging?
Its Fixed*.
Just follow my process.It helped me.Pretty sure it will help you lot too.
1.Go to settings.
2.Navigate to bombardment.
3.Enable fast charging.
Thumbs up if it help you lot.

It somewhat works (the*#0228#) my annotation 4 telephone doesnt desire to be charged more than 88 percent simply lately my phone doesnt desire to exist charged above 54 percent Aye FIFTY FOR Pct. But afterwards that back to 88% witch is abseloutly meliorate than 54%

Stock-still it for me, information technology 'calibrates' the battery after an update of a new bombardment.In my example, I allow the battery drain until phone turns off. And so charged it to where information technology possible(89%) and I saw it won't go further. So removed the bombardment. Turn information technology on an it fixed.

My phone would not charge past 54%. Figured I would burn down all bridges...#0228#, cleared cache, allowed the battery to completely dice, and then pulled the bombardment and reseated information technology. I am not sure which of these things did the trick but my Note 4 is at present charging fully.
